SANTO DOMINGO, RD.- El ex presidente y precandidato presidencial por el PRM, Hipólito Mejía, calificó ayer martes como una “metida de pata” los pronunciamientos de Luis Abinader, de que lo designaría como su asesor de campaña cuando resulte ganador en la convención de esa organización.
“Es una versión, una metida de pata de él, porque él no consultó conmigo para ofrecerme el cargo, el que le ofreció el cargo a él fui yo, no él a mí”, manifestó el ex mandatario al hablar de manera exclusiva para NCDN.
El ex mandatario no descartó llevar una relación armoniosa con el Partido Revolucionario Dominicano –PRD- al indicar que “en la política nada es imposible”.
“Vamos a esperar, nosotros tenemos comisión el 26, después de ahí en adelante será otra etapa de la vida política. Yo duré 40 años peleando con Balaguer y fui íntimo amigo de él”, sostuvo.
Al realizar un recorrido por las nuevas instalaciones del edificio de la Federación Nacional de Transporte Dominicano –Fenatrado-, Mejía mostró, además, preocupación por la situación dominico-haitiana y abogó para que se profundicen más el diálogo binacional.
