Santiago, .- Un raso de la Policía se encuentra grave tras resultar herido de un disparo en la cabeza durante las protestas que se realizan hoy en el municipio de Salcedo, en rechazo de la corrupción.
Se trata de Anderson Guzmán, que formaba parte de un contingente de agentes policiales que trataban de dispersar a los manifestantes.
La Policía comunicó que el agente fue conducido en estado agónico al hospital San Vicente de Paúl, de San Francisco de Macorís, donde los médicos han diagnosticado que su estado es de suma gravedad.
“Creo que vamos a perder a nuestro compañero, lo vi muy grave, estaba agonizando, solo un milagro de Dios lo salva”, dijo visiblemente triste a periodistas un agente policial que participaba en la operación.
Además de en Salcedo, hoy se han realizado protestas en Navarrete y San Francisco de Macorís, las cuales han dejado cuatro civiles heridos.
Las protestas se realizan en rechazo de las sentencias emitidas a favor del alcalde de San Francisco, Félix Rodríguez; y del senador de la provincia de San Juan, Félix Bautista, acusados de corrupción.
