PEDRO BRAND.-Las autoridades incineraron en el recinto que aloja la a la Primera Brigada del Ejército de la República Dominicana, 53, 982 kilogramos de sustancias controladas que fueron ocupadas por los organismos que luchan contra el trafico, consumo y ventas de drogas en el país.
Según las autoridades se incineraron 45, 767 kilogramos de marihuana, 8,0381 de cocaína y 177 kilogramos de crack, lo que totaliza el peso descrito más arriba, expresa la nota.
Durante la incineración de las sustancias prohibidas estuvieron por el Ministerio Publico, el Dr. Martin Rubustiano Suarez Peña, por la Ministra de Salud el Dr., Ramón Suarez, Waldo Ariel Suero, presidente del Colegio Medico Dominicano,, por el INACIF, el Ing. Francisco Manuel Gerdo Rosales,, por el Presidente de la DNCD el mayor Luis Paredes de la Policía Nacional y miembros de la Dirección Central Antinarcóticos de la policía nacional.
